Nonna's Italian Air Fryer Chicken Cutlets with Spaghetti
Crispy breaded chicken cutlets made in the air fryer, topped with melted mozzarella and served with spaghetti in tomato sauce, ready in 35 minutes. Nonna's Italian goes into the Parmesan crumb and the sauce, for chicken parm flavour without a pot of oil.
Ingredients
- 2 Large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup Grated Parmesan
- 2 Eggs
- ¾ lb Spaghetti
- 1 jar (24 oz) Tomato sauce
- 1 cup Shredded mozzarella
- Olive oil spray
- Salt
- 6 scoops Nonna's Italian FLAVRBOMBS™
You will need
- Air fryer
- Large pot
- Small saucepan
- Two shallow bowls
- Meat thermometer
- Knife
- Cutting board
Method
Prepare the cutlets
- Slice each chicken breast in half horizontally to make 4 thin cutlets, and season with a pinch of salt.
- Beat the eggs in one shallow bowl. In another, mix the panko, Parmesan and 3 scoops of Nonna's Italian.
- Dip each cutlet in egg, then press into the crumbs to coat both sides.
Air fry
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Spray the cutlets with oil and air fry in a single layer for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and the centre reaches 74°C (165°F).
- Top each with mozzarella and cook for 1 to 2 minutes more, until melted.
Cook the pasta
- Cook the spaghetti in well-salted water until al dente.
- Warm the tomato sauce with 3 scoops of Nonna's Italian. Toss most of it with the drained spaghetti.
Plate and enjoy
- Serve each cutlet on a nest of spaghetti with a spoonful of the remaining sauce.
